They were much talked about before they appeared. But one day, they were there. Not just one, but thousands of them. Not just in one place, but everywhere. Not that they were invited, or were longed for, they just emerged. One could talk to them and they replied, but it was less clear if we truly understood one another. To interpret their intention, one could look at their faces. Big bright eyes suggested that they were at our service. A black mirror face was put on in a security environment. They even managed to look like us, so as to confuse us, as if they were real and we were not. They made us believe we couldn't stop them.
